The Political Nomad

I spent nearly 20 years in the world of politics. I haver worked on campaigns, for members of congress as well as working for state government agencies. I have seen it all and seen how it’s affected the country and polarized our citizenry.

Our country is precarious place as it balances itself between two extremes while the views of the middle are minimized. People of faith have either become hardliners in their political stances or are increasingly becoming disaffected by the whole thing and becoming…like me…a political nomad.

That’s what The Political Nomad podcast is about. It’s about dealing with where we are politically, spiritually and dealing with issues of the world. There’s more than just a Republican or Democrat, religious or secular way to address issues of climate change, immigration, the economy, race relations, gender issues, equal pay and just general civility towards one another.

But how do we get there? We talk things through. The Political Nomad podcast won’t offer solutions right away because it can’t. But it will start the conversation toward a fresh perspective. Not everyone will agree, but that’s not the point either.

If you feel like you’re politically homeless, a nomad, searching for place to rest your weary political head, then hopefully this is the place for you.
